This season we have seen quite an interesting display of big hit jewelries for summer 2013, and we mean literally BIG jewelries. Designers like Dolce  & Gabbana, and Gucci has showed us earrings in colorful and epic proportions. While Christian Dior and Chanel created a different look for necklaces in baubles and huge pearls.

Here’s a look see of some of our favorite jewelry pieces.

Chanel definitely gave the classic pearls a pump up exposure for this Summer season. Courtney’s gold headband is definitely the perfect accessory that added the exclamation point to this all-white ensemble.

The much awaited annual Oscars Awards got the entire Hollywood scene (or the entire world for that matter) drooling in fashion. One week of prep and post Oscars event were in-lined to commemorate this once a year recognition of the world’s top entertainment industry players from celebs, directors, producers and fashion makers.

Jewelry Recap from the 70th Golden Globe Awards

Sunday night has never been this entertaining with the 2013 Golden Globes which took place at LA last January 14. True to form, the show brought out the very best not just because they rewarded the deserving and left memorable laughs, but most of all, fashion was unbelievable. Actresses took style chances on the red carpet this year which we won’t dare miss.

We will take a rest from describing all the dresses, as we focus more on those precious jewels giving each celebrity the desired spark. Here are some celebrities we spotted:

These amazing hosts, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, as expected brought the big guns and spared no one with their hilarious antics. Look at them in their red carpet entrance: Amy all fancy with her cleavage and 83-carat diamond lariat necklace, and Tina looking uber-glam with her aqua teardrop earrings.

Kate Hudson was definitely one of the favorites that evening, coming in with a ravishing long-sleeved black gown with plunging neckline all embellished in gold. Notice how he accessorized her look with a gold necklace, a gorgeous golden earring, and even a belt still with a hint of gold. Oh what elegance!

Fashion is not all about wearing the best dress, your accessories have a huge say to it too. Look at Jessica Alba with her strapless peachy mermaid outfit. It may not top all the other dresses, but her necklace alone is already enough to score her a big win. Way to go, Jess!

 

English rose Emily Blunt was one of the most buzzed about actress in the red carpet, as she looked gorgeous in her Michael Kors dress. And of course, you can’t help but notice how the combination of her ruby earrings and ruby bracelet echoed all throughout her.
